The Langley Education Centre (LEC) is focused on Working together for student success through LEARNING, ENGAGEMENT, and CONNECTION. We help adult and young adult learners combine their life experiences and classroom knowledge to meet their education goals. As part of the Langley School District, the Langley Education Centre is also in alignment with the District’s purpose of Inspiring all learners to reach their full potential and create a positive legacy for the future. Thrive with support from teachers and connect with peers in a safe and welcoming environment at LEC.
Start a student-centred learning journey where you can choose your own schedule, from a variety of flexible course offerings, and learn at your own pace. We offer courses for adult learners who need to upgrade their courses or complete their Adult Dogwood. There are also several courses for secondary students grades 10-12 looking for a more flexible schedule or distributed learning options.

FLEXIBLE PROGRAMS
Our programs are flexible and personalized to the needs of young adults and mature students. Courses are relevant, meaningful, and diverse and aim to meet you where you’re at. We offer student-centered learning, where you can choose your own schedule, from a variety of flexible course offerings, and learn at your own pace.
LEC aims to help students meet their education goals and find their passion for learning.
The LEC operates on a trimester model, with structured classes in three sessions:
- Fall Session – September to December
- Winter Session – January to April
- Spring Session – May to June
Students can also take “Self-Paced” On-site and Online classes throughout the year, with registration open from mid-August to mid-April.
