What You Need to Register

After applying for courses, the Langley Education Centre requires several documents to complete your registration. These documents differ depending on what kind of student you are. Please read below to learn what documents we will require from you.

Non-Graduated Students under 19 years of age (Cross enrolling Langley students):

  1. Student Identification – 1 piece of BC identification (BCID or BC Driver’s License) or Canadian Citizenship (Canadian Passport or Birth Certificate along with Student ID card)
  2. Permission to Cross Enroll form (This is completed at your current school with your school counsellor)
  3. $10 registration fee payable online through School Cash Online or in person at the LEC office. If paid online, please submit a copy of the payment receipt as proof of payment.

Non-Graduated students under 19 years of age (Other Districts):

  1. Identification – (1 piece) BC Driver’s License, or other BC identification (if the student does not have this, a parent or legal guardian can provide their ID)
  2. Canadian Citizenship – (1 piece) Canadian Passport, Birth Certificate, Status Card or Permanent Resident Card (must belong to student)
  3. High school transcript
  4. Grad Plan (completed by LEC counsellor) or Permission to Cross Enroll form (completed by student’s current out-of-district school counsellor)
  5. $10 registration fee payable online through School Cash Online or in person at the LEC office. If paid online, please submit a copy of the payment receipt as proof of payment.

Non-Graduated students over 19 years of age:

  1. Identification – (1 piece) BC Driver’s License, or other BC identification
  2. Canadian Citizenship – (1 piece) Canadian Passport, Birth Certificate, Status Card or Permanent Resident Card
  3. High school transcript
  4. Grad Plan (completed by LEC counsellor)
  5. $10 registration fee payable online through School Cash Online or in person at the LEC office. If paid online, please submit a copy of the payment receipt as proof of payment.

Graduated students under 19 years of age:

  1. Identification – (1 piece) BC Driver’s License, or other BC identification (if the student does not have this, a parent or legal guardian can provide their ID)
  2. Canadian Citizenship – (1 piece) Canadian Passport, Birth Certificate, Status Card or Permanent Resident Card
  3. High school transcript (available from previous high school)
  4. A completed Graduated Student Learning Plan form.
  5. $10 registration fee payable online through School Cash Online or in person at the Langley Education Centre office. If paid online, please submit a copy of the payment receipt as proof of payment.

 Graduated students over 19 years of age:

  1. Identification – BC Driver’s License, or other BC identification
  2. Canadian Citizenship – Canadian Passport or Birth Certificate or Status Card or Permanent Resident Card
  3. High school transcript (if available)
  4. A completed Graduated Student Learning Plan form.
  5. $10 registration fee plus applicable tuition fees ($375 per elective course) payable online through School Cash Online or at the Langley Education Centre office. Printable instructions for School Cash online can be found here. to pay a course tuition fee. If paid online, please submit a copy of the payment receipt as proof of payment.

Additional Forms – If applicable

  1. Medical Alert form (If you have a life-threatening health condition)
  2. Aboriginal Ancestry form

Book an appointment with an LEC Counsellor

Once you have met with an LEC counsellor (if required) and/or registered for courses, please ensure to upload the required documentation to your registration profile or email to lec-reception@sd35.bc.ca. Please note that your registration cannot be approved until the above mentioned documentation is received.
